Statute law-成文法
Parliamentary sovereignty means the Parliament has the supreme legal authority in the UK which can create or end any law. As a result, the parliament may:
(a) Repeal an earlier statute.
(b) Overrule case law (when a new statute is introduced into law it replaces and overrides any existing case law precedent that is inconsistent with the new statute).
(c) Make new laws.
